Living Room Upgrade
First Touchpoint:
This project started when our client from Mahogany, Calgary reached out to Met Interiors after discovering our work online. They were inspired by our previous installations and were looking for something truly unique—a statement feature wall that would elevate their living room and transform the feel of their home.
Concept Discussion:
After an initial call to understand their goals, we scheduled an in-home design consultation. During the visit, we reviewed the space, took precise measurements, and discussed the client’s vision in detail. They wanted a design that felt luxurious, modern, and refined, with strong visual impact but timeless appeal.
Design & Project Planning:
Based on the discussion, we proposed a concept that combined large-format marble PVC sheets with light wood fluted panels to create a high-end contrast. Together with the client, we explored layout options, textures, color palettes, and lighting placements. After reviewing samples and mockups, we finalized a design featuring a white marble pattern with grey veining and elegant gold accents - a look that perfectly reflected the client’s style and personality.
Installation
Estimation & Material Selection:
Once the design direction was approved, we provided a clear project estimate and finalized material selections. Panel sizes were carefully chosen, and a clean wiring plan was prepared for the TV setup to ensure a seamless, clutter-free finish. Every detail was planned in advance to ensure smooth execution.
Project Delivered:
A few days later, our installation team arrived on-site to bring the design to life. The marble panels were installed from floor to ceiling, with precise alignment to ensure a continuous flow of the gold veining. The vertical fluted panels on both sides framed the wall beautifully, adding warmth, depth, and dimension. With the existing pendant lighting, the gold accents subtly reflected light, creating a true luxury focal point.
Final Touchdown:
The result was a high-impact feature wall that transformed the living room into a refined, statement space designed, built, and delivered by Met Interiors.
